Mell Square is ready to play host to Solihull’s first ever outdoor Christmas ice rink, inviting people to lace up their boots from Friday, November 13th until Sunday, January 3rd.
The ice rink will showcase a festive hub of activity including festive choristers, DJs, themed sessions and family entertainment which will take place on the ice throughout the winter period. Junior skaters can buddy up with penguin skating supports, whilst the helpful staff on the rink will make the experience easy, safe and super-fun!
Open to the public seven days a week from 10am until 9pm at weekends and 3pm until 9pm Monday to Friday, the rink will also provide a viewing terrace for those who would rather spectate than skate. And for those who feel a bit peckish after all that exercise, you can enjoy the on-site Christmas cabins complete with mulled wine, German sausages, roasted meats and other festive favourites organised by Solihull BID, plus a selection of bars, cafes and restaurants to enjoy in Mell Square.
See the return of Mr Frosty’s Snow Garden and let the little ones run wild in their very own winter wonderland outside in the square. Created by the Solihull BID, Mr Frosty’s Snow Garden is open to children six and under, allowing them to play in the fluffiest of snow without catching a cold.
Tickets start at £9 for adults and £8 for children, with discounts for family tickets and students.
