• Grimshaws taking ADAM, Mokka & Cascada to event at BBC’s Media City
• The dealership taking rare 30-98 to celebrate its 100th birthday
• TV presenter Clare Nasir discussing vehicles
• Gifts and prizes available
Local Vauxhall dealer, Grimshaws, is set to ignite Salford’s Media City during a four-day event, where they’ll be giving motorists the chance to get up close and personal with new vehicles, and vehicles from days gone by.
Between 4th and 7th June, the dealership will be setting up camp at Media City- the home of the BBC, ITV and The University of Salford to name a few, to give visitors the opportunity to view and test drive twelve vehicles from the Vauxhall line-up, including the brand new full-size convertible, the Cascada, and the recently launched ADAM and Mokka.
And to mark the arrival of the new Cascada at Media City, Vauxhall’s first ever convertible, the 30-98, will be making a rare appearance at the motor show on 7th June. The 30-98, one of the greatest sports cars of the twentieth century, and the first in the UK to top 100mph in production form, is celebrating its centenary this month. To mark the occasion, Grimshaws are giving nostalgic motor fans the chance to explore the vehicle and compare it to its twenty-first century sister convertible, the Cascada.
What’s more, with Grimshaws enlisting the help of well-known TV presenter and personality, Clare Nasir, to discuss the specifications of the vehicles and present exciting competitions and giveaways, there’s never been a better place to get to know the latest Vauxhall models.
And as they’re broadcasting all this excitement in a central location for passing celebrities, visitors are likely to snap a fair few familiar faces as they become acquainted with Vauxhall’s offering.
Paul Ratcliffe, Sales Manager at Grimshaws in Eccles, comments: “We’re really excited to be displaying these brand new models at the Piazza; an exciting new development at Media City.
“With its clever, forward-thinking premium technology, the ADAM, Vauxhall’s urban-chic city car, takes the brand into a new market sector, meanwhile, the Cascada is the first full-sized convertible designed, engineered and manufactured by Vauxhall since the 1930s, whereas the sub-compact Sports Utility Vehicle, Vauxhall Mokka, combines both bold and expressive design with advanced driving dynamic and technology.
"We’ve been planning the Grimshaws Motor Show for over six months, and we’re very excited and confident that the new models will be a real hit with visitors to Manchester’s high-profile media hub.”
Plus, with a bespoke, luxury ‘Beau Basket’ being presented to every motorist who purchases a vehicle during the four-day extravaganza, as well as the opportunity to be snapped on video being shot throughout the entire event, this off-site display promises to capture a real ‘celebrity’ buzz.
Alan Grimshaw, Managing Director at the dealership, concludes: “Since my grandfather established Grimshaws in 1882, we have prided ourselves on the personal relationships we build with customers, and we’re delighted to be able to invite them to our Motor Show.”
