Runners from all over the country will soon be taking to the streets of Inverness during the Inverness Half Marathon & 5K Fun Run. The two races will see athletes of all abilities head to the Highland capital on Sunday 8 March.
Beginning by the riverside at Bught Park, the half marathon route follows the River Ness before following roads around the south of the city centre. It returns to the river and a spectacular finish on the track at Queen’s Park Stadium.
The 5K fun run – which is open to all ages and abilities including children accompanied by adults – follows a route alongside the River Ness and also finishes in the stadium.
Entries for the Inverness Half Marathon & 5K Fun Run close on Tuesday 17 February with limited 5K entries available on the day.
