Funhouse Comedy Club brings another night full of laughter to The George, Kirton-in-Lindsey on Saturday November 27th.

Topping the bill is winner of 'Dave's Best Joke of The Fringe' in Edinburgh 2017, the congenial and unassuming Mark Simmons has appeared on 'Mock The Week' and has supported Seann Walsh and Rob Beckett on tour. With his clever one-liners, amusingly intelligent material and warm disposition he keeps the crowd hanging on to every word.

Opening the night will be Shazia Mirza, an international award-winning comedian and columnist for the Guardian Weekend magazine who has also guested on 'Have I Got News For You?' From Birmingham, she was previously a science teacher with one of her former pupils being the rapper Dizzee Rascal. Star of radio and TV she has appeared on 'Last Comic Standing', 'Richard and Judy' and 'The Wright Stuff'. Shazia's distinctive act combines a deadpan delivery with observation on her world; her laconic one-liners represent something quite unique in modern comedy.

Also appearing is finalist in the 2018 English Comedian Of The Year competition and 'So You Think You're Funny' Finalist 2013, the dead pan Tom Taylor. His unique brand of musical comedy is smart and silly in equal measure and he boasts an impressive stock of quirky, and very funny, musical one-liners.

Compere for the night will be the amiable and amusing Dave Bryon.
