Local Vauxhall retailer, Charles Hurst, is giving Northern Ireland motorists a helping hand and making owning a brand new Vauxhall even more affordable with the return of the Vauxhall Scrappage Allowance Scheme.
The scheme, which runs until 30th June 2017, will see the retailer offer £2,000 scrappage on motorists’ old cars when they trade it in for a new Vauxhall* and offers local drivers the chance to turn their tired wheels into something new and modern.
Available on selected models from across the Vauxhall range, including the ADAM, Corsa, Mokka X and award-winning Astra, the Scrappage Allowance Scheme gives motorists the chance to get their hands on a new, exciting, technology-packed car. With a mix of family favourites, compact cars and a SUV, those scrapping their old cars will have a great choice of new vehicles and will have the chance to experience class leading connectivity with Vauxhall’s IntelliLink and OnStar systems.
Keith Hyde, Retail Operator at Charles Hurst, comments: “There is nothing quite like getting behind the wheel of a brand new car for the very first time and thanks to our Scrappage Allowance offer more Northern Ireland motorists will be able to share in that feeling. Often people think they can’t afford to buy a brand new car, but that’s simply not the case. So, we would encourage anyone considering buying a new car to come and visit us and take advantage of this fantastic offer.
“The Scrappage Allowance Scheme offers a great discount on a brand new Vauxhall, which normally wouldn’t be available. This the perfect time to scrap your old car and buy a new one and experience all the tech a new car has to offer. The Vauxhall range is the best it has ever been with a fantastic selection of models, and not only do the cars look great, but they perform well and are available with some brilliant features such as OnStar, which offers 24 hour assistance at the touch of a button.
“This great offer is only available until 30th June with limited availability, so we would advise customers to snap up this super saving as soon as possible.”
The Vauxhall Scrappage Scheme aims to recover those vehicles that are beyond economical repair but is not designed to rid the world of classic cars. Consequently Vauxhall’s recycling partner, Autogreen, will identify any cars manufactured prior to 1991 so that relevant owners’ clubs can be notified and given the chance to purchase parts through the Authorised Treatment Programme.
